TEKCN C-90 is a specialized fiber cleaver for Large diameter fiber (LDF).

How it works? 

TEKCN C-90 LDF Cleaver is suitable for cutting optical fibers with diameters ranging from 250um to 1200um. Using different sizes of fiber holder to clamp different diameter fibers, different types of fibers can be easily cut by setting the tension of the fiber holder and the cutting depth of the blade. Large diameter fibers are not cut by blades, but by adjusting the cutting depth of the blade to open the cut of the fiber. The tension of the holder is set to separate the fiber from the cut. This can make the cutting of large diameter fiber smoother, with higher cutting quality, and less likely to damage the cutting end face of the fiber.
